Receive my payout via Mobile Money
How Meyandy escrow works, how to configure your Mobile Money number, and how long the payout takes.
Meyandy protects both parties via an escrow system: the recruiter locks funds on acceptance, you receive them on validated delivery.
Here are the 4 steps of a mission payment:
- Acceptance: the recruiter picks your proposal and pays the budget to the Meyandy escrow (via Swychr). Funds are locked, not transferred.
- Execution: you do the work and deliver.
- Validation: the recruiter clicks
Validate deliveryβ funds are released. - Payout: Meyandy sends you the net amount (mission β commission) to your Mobile Money.
Before your first accepted mission, enter your Mobile Money number under Settings β Payments:
- Operator (MTN, Orange, Moov, Wave, Airtel...)
- Number in international format without
+(e.g.237612345678) - Full name as it appears on the Mobile Money account
The name MUST match your verified identity, otherwise the payout fails.
Meyandy's commission depends on your country and Pro status. Examples:
| Country | Standard | Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Cameroon | 10% | 9% |
| CΓ΄te d'Ivoire | 10% | 9% |
| Senegal | 10% | 9% |
| Nigeria | 10% | 9% |
| DRC | 12% | 11% |
| Guinea | 12% | 11% |
Example: 100,000 FCFA mission in Cameroon, Standard status β 10,000 FCFA commission β you receive 90,000 FCFA.
After recruiter validation:
- D+0: mission status becomes
Released, a Swychr payout is created - D+0 to D+1: Swychr processes and credits your Mobile Money
- D+2 max: if delayed, contact support
You get an SMS from your operator AND a Meyandy notification on receipt.
If the payout doesn't arrive by D+2:
- Check the number in
Settingsis correct and active - Check your Mobile Money account is in good standing (not suspended)
- Contact support via /contact with your mission ID and validation date
Meyandy guarantees the payout: if Swychr has an incident, we re-run the payout manually.
Good to know: Mobile Money withdrawals may incur operator fees (not charged by Meyandy). Check your operator pricing for exact costs.
