Account settings, reporting and safety

• Me → Appearance: choose Light or Dark. The choice applies to this device; light is the default.
• Me → Settings → Langue / Language: Français or English.

Me → Settings, WhatsApp card:

1. type the new number in international format;
2. tap Send code, then type the code you receive on WhatsApp;
3. tap Verify.

The new number replaces the old one once verified: it is the one you log in with. A number already used by another account is refused.

Settings → Notifications: choose the Notification channel (Email, WhatsApp or Both), turn each type of alert on or off, then tap Save.

Settings → Privacy and data:

• Download my data: a copy of your personal data;
• Delete my account: deletion is immediate and permanent. Your profile and personal information are erased; your messages and applications are anonymized. To confirm, type the phrase shown on screen.

Log out is at the bottom of Me.

• A post: on its page, tap Report this post, choose What's wrong (Scam or suspicious request for money, Inappropriate content, Harassment, Fake profile, Dangerous behavior, Other), explain in a few words, then Send report.
• A profile: at the bottom of the profile, tap Report this profile. Reporting someone also blocks messages between you.

The Meyandy team reviews reports. A post reported by several members may be hidden until that review; its author is told.

• Your login code is personal: you only type it on meyandy.com. Never give it to anyone, even someone who says they work for Meyandy.
• Meyandy will never make you pay to be seen, to contact, to be contacted, to be verified or to apply for a job.
• Never pay a stranger in advance.
• A suspicious request for money? Report it.
