Do I need an architect?

It depends on the floor area and the local rules. The practice tells you from the first conversation.

How long does a permit take?

The review time depends on the authority; a complete application avoids requests for documents that lengthen it.

Do you supervise the works?

Yes, if the scope includes it: regular visits, site reports and handover of the works.

Can you estimate the building cost?

A first estimate comes with the sketch design; it is refined with contractors’ quotes.
